Christmas…what a wonderful time of year! New Berlin kicked off the holiday season extra early this year, hosting its Annual Christmas Parade on November 30th. Tons of local groups, businesses, and committees joined in on the fun and made it a great family event. The parade generally takes place on the first Saturday in December, so this year’s parade broke tradition taking place just 2 days after Thanksgiving. The folks involved in planning the parade mentioned the decision was made because they wanted the parade to be bigger. In years past, the New Berlin parade was always the same day as the West Allis parade, which limited the number of people that could participate. This year the parade welcomed tons of guests and had an incredible group of participants. The Tobin Jewelers staff happily bundled up and braved the cold to be part of the event. Sporting red sweatshirts with the phrase “got diamonds?” across the front, the Tobin folks marched the streets in support of Tobin’s New Berlin jewelry store. The tree lighting ceremony took place after the parade and served as the official kick-off to the holiday season in New Berlin. Tobin is thankful to have been a part of this great community event and looks forward to what’s ahead! Don’t forget to stop by our Grand Re-Opening Celebration this Saturday, December 7th at our New Berlin showroom. The event will be held from 10am-5pm! From all of the folks at Tobin, we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!
